Jenkins Rose is a boutique design, branding, and financial services business that supports modern women who are moving through a period of transition to ensure that these transitions are fruitful – whether that’s personally as they plan a wedding, or professionally as they turn their careers towards entrepreneurship and owning a business.


What does that mean?  Well, it means that - 

I design branding for celebrations (weddings!) and creatives.  

My favorite people to work with are couples planning intimate events filled with love and originality and small service-based businesses that provide unique experiences for their clients.  

I'm also a certified public accountant, or CPA.  

I work with an elite group of creative entrepreneurs who are thriving in their creative pursuits and who want to stay consistently profitable in their businesses.

That might sound like an odd combination – I thought so at first, too! – but as my own experience and business has grown, I’ve found that these various pieces actually make a lot of sense together.  To explain, allow me to introduce myself.

I'm Dondrea, the founder and owner of Jenkins Rose.  

I have a decade-long accounting career and a real passion for numbers.  The birth of my first child motivated me to pursue the freedom to design my own days.  I began my entrepreneurial journey in the wedding industry in 2014 designing invitations.  While invitations are still a big part of my business, as well as a huge passion personally, today Jenkins Rose looks very different than it did just a couple years ago.  I’ve added branding and financial services to my offerings, and I’ve refined my sense of how best to help my clients. I've learned what my ideal couple needs and how to best deliver it, how to attract the couples who want what I'm offering and provide the utmost value for them, and how to create systems and processes that allow me to price myself for maximum profit.

I also found that, while being a CPA gives me an extra advantage in understanding my business's financial metrics, it was running my own business that gave me firsthand experience of what other business owners encounter… and placed me in a unique position to help. After all, building a sustainable business is more than just a hobby in the eyes of the IRS!

So today, Jenkins Rose is all about building beautiful, cohesive stories and experiences… and supporting your journey along the way.

Of course, a small business like this one is infused with my own heart and soul… so here’s a little more about what makes me (and Jenkins Rose) tick.

I'm a wife and mom to two lovely little beings and a shihtzu.   I'm a notebook fanatic, Instagram addict, and forever fan of the show Girlfriends.  I'll take a glass of red wine and chocolate with a really good book any day of the week.
